Hi, This is a nice product. I bought it to clean my house. The gutters and facets under the roof. If you use the needel nossel it will take off almost anything including paint. Works well, I’ve ran it hard for 6 hours no issues. The legacy Engine is 2.8 HP and is made by the Grow Company in Shaghai China.

This is a great product. I agree with the previous review re the stupid design of the oil filler hole, but I guess we should partially blame Honda who built the engine, although Karcher did design the frame!!! You must have a funnel available when you first use the product. However, once you get the oil in, the product is great. Superb cleaning ability and the Honda engine runs like a charm. I used it on a brick walkway and a pool (cement). Terrific cleaning power. I would highly recommend it.

I just received my new K2400HH today. In a matter of minutes, I had it together and it worked like a charm. Used the Dirt Blaster to instantly clean algae and slime from the front brick steps, cleaned excess mortar from the original construction on an exterior brick wall and removed mildew and grime from a garage door. Was a positive experience and I was definitely glad I didn’t settle for the lower pressure electric version. The reviewer >> biggus_discus was exactly correct in his review except for his open issues. It seems that Karcher has now changed the pressure tip storage rack and pressure tips. There are now five seperate quick change spray tips plus the super nice quick change Dirt Blaster tip. In addition, the rack has been updated so that these tips nount securely and don’t easily fall out. As well, I had no problems with the wandholder. Definitely a good value for the money and I don’t know how I lasted this long without one.

After owning the Devilbliss (Excell) 2400 PSI pressure washer from Home Depot for the past few weeks, I had a desire for more. The Excell had the 6.5 HP B&S engine. Don’t let numbers fool you. The Karcher was unpacked today and immediately tested it out. Where the Excell fell short on cleaning a few weeks back, the Karcher “cleaned up” the remaining dirt.
Weakness: Oil filler hole. Problems that previous users have complained about – hopefully, there are no long-term reliability issues with this device.
Strengths: Power, power and more power. Lots of tips to “fine tune” your spray. The dirt buster attachment does great. Great price: $299 @ Costco.
I hope this baby lasts me a few years (or more). I love Honda engines – my Craftsman mower has one, too. Too many issues with my last B&S engine have me shying away from their engines.

This is a wonderful pressure washer! It is amazing what some Simple Green and a pressure washer can do for a driveway. This unit has 2 oil drain holes one just above a square hole in the cart though the Honda instructions show only the one on the other side. This engine is used in many configurations and yes you do need a funnel to get the oil in, but assembly there really isn’t any. Take it out of the box put on the handle put in some of the supplied oil add gas and one or two pulls of the cord and your pressure washing, couldn’t be easier!

I’ve used the Karcher 2400 now for over one month and it is a dependable machine. The 5.0 Honda engine runs and works like a charm, and I do agree with a previous review that putting oil in and changing it is a pain. What I am having a problem with are the quick change nozzles. I am an owner of a hand car wash and I use the washer exclusively and often. The problem I am having is the nozzles are becomming clogged all too frequently. The are not being submerged in water in soap, it just seems after prolonged use, the pressure is not there. I know it is the nozzle because when it is removed and I squeeze the trigger on the wand, the pump activates and pushes the water out at pressure. The engine does not go through any undue labor, and when I adjust the choke with the nozzle on, the presszure comes back. I have to do this every time when I come off of the trigger. I am investigating as to if there is a better and more durable nozzle that I can get. If anyone knows, please let me know.

Just purchased the 2400hh at Costco. Tried it right away and was very impressed. No problems at start up or during use. I don’t use pressure washers very often, but I can tell you that I have used a much more expensive Landa washer with a much higher hp rating and I could not tell much difference in performance. All the complaining about the oil fill is over-rated. I recommend this product, specially at this price point. Maintenance Supervisor in California.

After using the product for a number of weeks I am generally very satisfied with its performance. It appears that Karcher has addressed a number of the previous gripes. The tip holder now works great and the wand holder is not a problem. Adding oil is not a problem with the right funnel (your generic funnel won’t work). I really like the 50′ of hose, this feature with the accessories helped guide my decision. Honda engine runs flawlessly and is quieter than other Brigs or Techum engines. I don’t know about the repairs available from a karcher service centers, however I was able to find several in my area by using Karchers web site. (In the event I need a repair) I was hesitant after reading the reviews about buying this but now I am glad I did.

If you have never used a Karcher before, any model will surprise you with how well it cleans, a purcharse you will not regret. I have used electric ones for years. The electric machines are superb, but this gas model having 2400 PSI can remove more stubborn material, runs without electricity, and can run continuously without the wear and tear that small models suffer. It has a Honda engine, a Karcher pump, and some domestic assembly onto a wheeled trolley. The trolley has stupidities… it is impossible to put in the motor oil without a funnel and tube, and draining the oil is worse because there is no hole in the base plate so you have to hold the whole at an angle. One of the accessories regularly falls off the accessory holder. I recommend this model only if the electric versions are too light duty or you are too far from electricity. So far it has proven very capable a cleaner and so far has been reliable.

I shopped Home Depot and BJ’s comparing this washer with the Honda line Home Depot carries. For the price of $299. compared to $420. (Home depot model) you can not beat this machine. I ran it ALL day the first day I had it it works beautiful!! Plenty of power, and constant pressure. Spending another $ 100. for the “Home Depot” model would have been a waste! Good luck
